quick connect

There seems to be an extra quick connect on the under side of the tractor Any idea what its purpose is? I cant find any reference to it in the manual

I'm thinking of buying a PTO link for my CX2510. I'm not sure whether to get the SD or compact. If anyone uses one I'd appreciate hearing which you bought and if you're happy with it. I'd be using it for my flail mower at this point. Thanks.
