How is this cold going to affect you?

Most of us are going to get the Arctic Blast today/tomorrow/next day/s.

It's -20F now and snowing, and tonight is forecasted to be -42 with 14mph winds, really don't care what the "wind chill factor" is...

And more snow they say.

I hope everyone does stay warm and safe during this cold snap.

Unless you park your vehicle inside a heated garage, the water bottles in my vehicle safety kit are frozen solid this time of year.

And don't forget about keeping the pets safe, and take care so that your water pipes don't freeze.

Maybe more TBN'ers can add some tips that will help folks out.

Also I know here in Montana people have frozen to death in/near their vehicle when broke down in remote areas, please be safe.

I have felt your pain, that's one reason we moved to Texas. -40 F regular temp is no joke. People freak out here when it gets below +20. They are saying Thursday night/Friday morning it will get down to high single digits here. A few days later it will be 50+.

Unfortunately it's going in the other direction here... purported to be 50'F and up to three inches of rain on Friday.

It dropped 50 degrees in 20 minutes this afternoon. A record even for WY.

So glad it was warmer at my place, -38...
