-20F today with 3" fresh snow; up from -37F lows last week. 1758 running well. I am plowing in high range for most of my snow removal. Sorry to hear owners woes with regard to regen cycles and no power with the HST. Mine has been the best value I could ask for at 240 hours now. I live in extreme conditions with respect to temperatures. I had a regen cycle 2.5 hours ago and show no bars on soot level FYI.

I'm just under 50 hours and I think mine has done a regen once. Extreme temperatures? If it gets into the 20s, that's COLD for here!

onceacop, I was thinking of asking you if you still like your 1758. It’s great to hear that you’re very happy with the hydro and the machine in general. There are a few post that have made it very clear they are not happy with theirs, and warning others about it.

Yes it's been my best unit. Owned a new Case/IH 55A, International 454 Utility, 2615 Massey, Kioti/Bobcat CT445, and older models from M Farmalls up to the 560. Also owned two ASV's a RC50 and PT60 and a JD Gator and RTV1100 Kubota. Equipment isn't new to me and it needs to go bang like a Glock pistol every time. I'm just too busy to work on stuff. Where I live machinery is essential to exist. It doesn't baffle me that people have issues as machines break. Having dealers unable to fix the situation is puzzling. My dealer is great and understands the importance of solving problems. If my unit was down I have no doubt I would get a loaner to use. I spent hours in other units from the JD4052-4066 to Kubotas and picked the MF 1758. These are the three colors which have dealers within a 90 minute drive. I made the right choice. It's what I hoped it would be.
