I've been looking for a new generation John Deere for a while, mainly to take to shows and use around the farm. Found this one owner '72 gas 1020 pretty close. Good tight tractor, cleaned it up and buffed out the hood. It has power steering and new front tires, rear tires are almost new.

The owner added power steering several years ago. He had the original owner's manual and parts manual. The rod and main bearings were replaced about five years ago. It was built in Dubuque Iowa. Very tight tractor, no slop in shifters, three point works good. The tach works and shows 2100 hours, considering there's hardly any wear on the clutch and brake pedals that may be all the hours on it.

Buffed out the hood and gave it a general clean-up. Sitting beside my '96 6400 that I bought new.
