So im trying to get details on a tractor im looking at in the AM. Husband passed away and his wife is selling it. Its a 2001 Kubota M4900. Open station, 4 wd, loader.

My research on tractor blue book shows numerous sub models. Just trying to understand.

M4900sc
M4900Scsf
M4900Scd
M4900Scf
M4900Sf
M4900Su
M4900Sud


Price is 24000 for tractor with 300 hrs, loader, HD cutter, harrows, auger with 2 bits, pallet forks, and a 20ft gooseneck trailer.

Ill be using this for general property clean up. We bought 54 acres that has been neglected for the past 10 years. Mostly pasture with some woods clean up. So I'll be using out the cutter and lot would like to put up a fence lines So the augurs will be nice. What is the general thought on this tractor for those purposes? What about the price?

Serial plate should have the full model on it?

Just guessing, but:
SU usually means basic/econ version
D means 4x4
C means cab

Even with goose neck trailer, forks, cutter, auger, ?

So its 8f8r. 4wd. Good shape. Been covered mostly.

Auger w 2 bits, 6ft HD cutter, disc, straight blade, wooda loader, 22+2 ft trailer. Deck over. Trailer has been outside. Wood is in surprisingly good shape. 24k

24 k with all the stuff doesn't sound too bad. 300 hours is nothing. That's probably a 24k tractor here without all the stuff.

in canadian currency, maybe. us dollars, no, 24k too high for that machine alone, but if well kept & w/described equip, could be a good deal

Yeah, I forgot to add that. 24k Cdn would be over 30k USD right now.
