I was wondering if some of you would help me out... looking for pictures of the MMM arms mounted under your tractors... looking for mechanical lifts only. I really need to see what the difference in the 2320 and 2520 really are.

thanks a bunch!!

Have you looked at the parts breakdown online? Also have you asked the dealer if it is a different bundle #? Dealer should also be able to give you breakdown of parts in the kit, and they should also have access to the install instructions(free) to print or forward to you. Isn't the wheelbase lenght on these two machines different?

well here is whats going on... bought a MMM off a 2520 privately thinking it would fit my 2320.... then i found out my dealer has a used MMM off a 2320 he says with the mounting kit and everything so we traded... got the new deck home with some brackets ( looking at the online parts breakdown noticed that i am missing some brackets) and im wondering if they are off a 2520.....

here is what i have......

does this look like the 2320 or 2520 brackets? Im missing everything that bolts to the frame.

and looking under my 2320... what are these used for? to raise and lower with the 3pt... i would think thats what raises and lowers the deck? and noticed that make short links just like this on the JD parts catalog... Just found this... this looks more like the setup i need....

here is what i have now.... these arms look to be a mechanical 2520 setup..... NOT a 2320 like the dealer said....

you would be correct, what you need for the 2320 is the parts diagram photo, not the above photo. those arms attach to the 3pt to raise and lower on the 2520.

You are correct sir.
That is most certainly the mechanical linkage for the 2520!

thanks for the replies guys. Well looks like this deck is going back to the dealer and i ill be getting my $200 back to put towards a 2320 mounting kit. Ill be making my other 2520 deck thats being delivered today work.

If anyone is looking for a nice 2520 62D deck with MOST of the mounting brackets and a mulcher kit, i know where to find one....

purpony,

The rear of the 62D deck for the 2320 WILL NOT use any mounting brackets. Rather, the left and right mower rear draft link arms drop down from the tractor chassis and engage the mower as you driver over it.

And if you're considering the independent lift kit, I suggest against it. It's really handy on the 2520 and 2720, but unnecessary on the 2320 because the Depth of Cut control allows you to lock the mower deck up while still raising and lowering the 3-Pt hitch. I bought it and wasted my money (wanna buy it cheap? :) Plus, your lawn will be best if you cut it without the loader and a rear implement attached because it will reduce the overall weight of your tractor and therefore the chance of damaging your lawn.
