I found a nice used 62d for my new 2720 last fall. One of the reasons was I wanted the older model was for the brackets so I could move the deck with my 3pt and I-match. The problem is the 3pt dosen't drop far enough. About 3/4" shy of being able to drive under the pins. Is this a common problem? Am I missing something? I store it on a pallet so that is not a problem but when I take it off the tractor I have to use a spot in the yard where the front of the tractor is uphill so I can get under it with the hitch.

I have a 2520 with an older 62D deck as well (early 06) and yes I also have this problem. There are only a few spots where i can set it down so i can get under it with the Imatch.

I don't know about the 2720, but on the 4300 you can thread out the 3pt hitch link on both sides to let it go down farther. the left side you have to take the pin out that holds the lift arm to the lower link arm. The right side is easlily adjustable.
