Wana do my 50 hr service.. I know this has probably been beat to death.. but how many of you have went synthetic?

What type and quantities do I need?

BX2350....

You going to put 40 hours/ week on the machine? If yes then use synthetic.

75-100 hrs/year-use regular oil and park it in your garage-make the BMW sleep outside...:)

Has anyone posted a procedure, or is it in our manual's... sorry been lazy and haven't even looked there..

+1 The Mrs. and mine bimmers are both outside and the BX23 is inside the garage where it belongs.

Amsoil makes a multiviscosity trans-hydraulic fluid. That would be one of your better choices.

SUDT stands for Super and not Synthetic. It is a 5w30 multivis where the UDT is 30 wt.

For engine oil, there are many choices.

If you have 4wd, don't forget the front axle fluid.
