955 Broom - Will the Deere 60HD broom attach to 955?

Hello Everyone - Friend has a 955 and is looking to purchase a front broom / sweeper. He has a front blower with tractor quick attach - yet to put on but has the complete set up from what I can tell.

From what I understand, the 246 broom was the model for the 955 (55 series tractor).

I like the Deere 60HD brooms - newer style, built well and has wheel kit behind the broom.

Does anyone know if specific deere tractors that have the 60HD broom will fit onto the 955 deere quick attach system?

The JD955 is a stought enough machine. It should run it just fine. If it was a 755, then I would say no. The JD955 has the very reliable Yanmar 3TN84 engine. This is the prized engine of it's day for being in several tractor brands. Parts are better to obtain as well.

The JD955 only has a mid-PTO. Looking at the JD60HD, a long enough PTO shaft would then be needed. Tractor data didn't list a front snowblower for it. You'll need to investigate even more, else a rear broom is needed.
