Hi
Does anybody have experience lifting young grape vines without killing them. I've lifted lots of mature vines with large trucks on them and transplanted them by lifting with a fork lift tractor. However to do this on young vines normally ends with a stump left in the ground and a wrecked vine on the forklift. Access to the vines is restricted by the adjacent rows of vines. Can't get a ripper etc close enough to the vines with my single Tyne ripper.
Anybody got any suggestions on how to do it easily? Got about 50 vines to move do not have the time to dig each one out individually spring is on its way.

Try doing a search on TBN for "stump bucket" or "tree spade".

Here is an example from Everything Attachments:

WR Long Tree Spade

A problem is that you need a QA FEL or the ability to modify yours.

If the vines are not in a straight row then there may be an issue of lining up the tree spade without damaging adjacent rows.
