Was running a woods digger bucket backhoe and bucket would curl under but wouldnt dump. Checked it with grapple and same thing, would open but wouldnt close grapple. Any ideas where to check or trouble shoot?

Most likely cause is one of the 2 electric valve stems failed. Either the magnetic coil on the stem failed or the plunger in the stem is stuck. Could also be failure in the thumb switch but a stuck solenoid stem (debris in hydraulic fluid) has been most common.

Can stem be cleaned of said debris or just replace them? Wheres best place to buy the stem or the coils?? The nut on top of the coil seems stripped as it just spins and wont turn off the stud so itll get dremmeled off i guess.
