Re: Backhoe KB2375 \"BROKE\"
I have a Wallenstein 9' backhoe, and broke the very same pin .My pin is a 1" dia. with grease fitting on end of pin.To facilitate the grease fitting,a hole is drilled down the center of the pin from the fitting inward to the halfway point. At the midpoint a 1/4' wide groove is machined in . Another hole is then drilled into this groove (perpendicular to the first hole) joining the first hole midpoint. My pin broke at this mid point. I had no idea the pin was even broken, until I in the process of repairing a hydraulic hose discovered the trouble. My local distributor replaced the pin without question.
