Good timing on this post. I usually run my L3301 with a rear scraper blade, but I remove it sometimes when I have to get into thought spaces. I was thinking of getting a heavy hitch with suitcase weights. Has anyone got a recommendation?

I just build a 2x2x1 (4 cu-ft) steel box from scrap and filled it with concrete, weights in at approximately 600 lbs.... Lot cheaper than buying weights...
You might try doing a "search" for "ballast", lots of solutions posted over time....

You can make your own for less than it would cost to buy suitcase weights. Here is just one solution:
