Good morning, went out and got some photos. Adjustment needs to be with clutch pedal up (engaged) there's needs to be little to no play. That way it pulls pivot to full extension to push pressure plate. Hopefully you don't need a clutch pack! Measurement is to case as I can't get beyond boot. You might need to split to do repair correctly. I did just to check other components.
Fuel filter- Wix 33264, Napa 3264, Fram CG9271, Microlite PF7545
Air filter- Stens 100-465, Fram CAK530, Wix 46270, Napa 6270
Oil filter- Napa Gold 1356, Fram PH7317(not 1st choice)
Head light bulb- T19-12v (A12V25/25W)

Replaced mine with 10 and 12 ply for just over $500 3-4 years ago.
Bolens #'s for clutch rod, 1873965, 1873967(coupler), 1860304 (M8 nut), 1873966 - first rod is left hand.
Do have a Bolens parts manual, but online look up for White Field Boss 16 is updated.
