Hello and welcome to TBN

You may want to post this in the "Build-it-Yourself" area.

well the easyest way is to use a small beer keg and it can be mounted almost anywhere

I used a empty 30 lb freon can.

An old empty cleaned out propane tank would work.

find dead air compressor tank

Weavdog: My store bought splitter uses a large square tubing boxed in on the ends for an oil reservoir. The square tube also doubles as an axle with the stub axles welded to the bottom.

Shucks, any container that does not leak will do the job!
I once used a gallon paint thinner tin (square type) and soldered on a hose fitting to connect things up.
This was for a Jeep snow plow that was operated with a hand pump.
5 strokes and up, crack the valve and down. Worked great!

Naturally a tin can is not long lived as rust will attack unless you have a lot of oil leaks, LOL.

Virtually any container that is oil compatible will do the trick.

Built mine from a gas tank taken off old commercial air compressor. One more vote for anything that holds oil. Read on another thread that volume should be 1.5 times pump's gpm. Maybe something to consider.
