Case 350c dozer
I used to own a Case 1150 E and it worked well for the 10 years I had it. I recently bought a Case 350 C dozer. I do not have a knowledge base on dozers but so far, I love my little Case 350 C. I need some information if anyone can provide it. Does the C mean it is a newer or older version of the 350 Dozer? I was so happy to find a small dozer I did not check to see if it had a 6 way blade. I own a self storage facility and need it for finish grading when I expand It seems like my dozer is just a 2 way blade, up and down. Perhaps I'm slow but the blade does not seem to tilt. Does anyone have any experience with a Case 350 C dozer. This may be unrealistic but is it possible to add a 6 way blade to my 350 C? It will probably cost a lot to do so.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The C's are newer than the straight models. Im thinking 50hp or so. I know a guy that installs driveways with a Case 350 from the 70's at least. Even though he bought a new John Deere 450, that old Case is still his go to machine. Every one I talk to says Case are much easier to work on than John Deere. You would know if the blade is a 4 way by the extra cylinders and levers.

Here is a 6 way version on my 310. Case actually used a couple different 6 way blades on their machines.;)

Nice find. The c is newer than the straight numbers. We have a straight 450 with a six way blade. Needs some work done to tighten blade for grade work but is still nice.
A six way blade will have 2 levers. A joy stick for up/down and tilt. Then a separate one for the angle. It will also have a c frame instead of push bars. And 3 cylinders right behind blade.

The straight will be a tougher and easier to maintain bull. Often straights were called rock blades, made to push heavy loads.

My buddy, also a storage facility, uses an old 1150 to push fill in order to expand his storage area. LOL, his bull is so old that he simply wore his cutting edge clean off but repaired it still trucks on. Think he has pushed about 2500 loads of fill so it owes him NADA. All his loads were free from road work in the region. He has 9 buildings and think that is about 400 doors. Another soon to go up.
Forget converting as that would be pricy. Practice and you'll soon develop techniques to obtain a 'graderlike finish' Dragging the blade backwards will give you a nice and compacted finish.

I see Case 350C but the Case Collector site and another machine info site say the B was the last model and discontinued in 1983.

Case built Crawlers

I wish someone could shed some light on this and say with certainty that the information I have found is not correct and that there is indeed a 350C.

I have also seen a dozer advertised as a 350C that is suipposed to be a '78 model. That can't be according to the Case collector's site as a '78 model would be a straight 350. I doubt this ad is correct:

I'm looking for a 350B in great shape of the latest model possible. Preferably with engine guards, sweeps, ripper and so forth. There was a near hit but it sold last year.

There should be a ID tag stamped on it. I'll check my service manual for my 350B, It covers a few different models. I seen a 350 with a 6 way being parted out a while ago on tractor house. One that ran and the other for parts.

I did a quick look in the service manual last night. The 188 engine is in the 350-350B. It has a section for the 207 but it didn't say anything about what model it went in to.

Some early 450's also had the 188 engine, but the 188's are known to have a flaw, I believe they like to throw rods... SO, when I was looking for a Case dozer, I "for sure" wanted the 207 engine, as it's known to be a much stronger engine with quite a bit more power.

Personally, I'd go for a 450 as they are quite a bit more dozer and lot nicer to run for not much more money...
