I believe if you remove the floor you will have complete access to the pump.

I will caution you, normally, the pump does not fail by it's self.

The shaft tends to shear off the gear inside the transmission.

If that's the problem, the gear needs to be replaced, and a new pump with a longer shaft installed.

The entire transmission needs to be torn down, to do all that.

Let us know how you make out with it.

Sorry, but I think Ray's right. And to get into that transmission, the whole tractor will need to be disassembled. Possible DIY job, but definitely not for the faint of heart!

Since this is entirely MF's fault, they were at one time completely covering this defect, provided you were lucky enough to have it happen while it was under warranty.

Then later, they were supplying the parts at no cost, if you pay the ransom to the dealer to do the repair.

At this point, I don't know what, if anything, they are doing for owners. But, you should contact them to see.

MF should have recalled them all, and fixed them. They chose otherwise.

Yes. I believe it was fixed on later 2300 models.

Yes -- my 2310, which was apparently one of the last ones, has had no issues with the hydraulic pump.
