I need to remove the belly mower from my tractor. I unhooked the drive shaft and then 4 pins that hold it to the frame. It slides around nicely on the floor, but I can not seem to figure out how to get the gear box on the mower past the
framework on the tractor. I thought about jacking up the tractor but I thought there had to be a better way.

Thanks,

Vince

Do you have a FEL on the tractor? Use it to lift the front end by pushing the bucket into the ground. If not get a set of car ramps to drive the front end up on. You only need a couple of inches so don't have to drive it all the way up the ramps.
Faced the same dilema first time I took the mower off my ck20.

If it's like the CK20, it will come out much easier on one side than the other.
Ditto on what pilonidal said, we have also used 4x6's to get the front up a little.

I have the 60". I got the tractor in October of last year, so I haven't used the belly mower as of yet. I will have to wait till spring to find out.
