Yeah, gotta factor that in, but still. Enough concern expressed to be careful, I think. There are blenders and then there are blenders, I should think.

If I bought an oil that ONLY met the 303 or 20a spec.. I might be concerned. but you see 20 other specs listed on most of the utf sold today.. some of them on the much newer end...

Update:

Got the report back from the lab. There was no contamination and everything was pretty much in order.Only areas above tolerances were high silicon and lead.
So spank me as I was falsely blaming the fluid manufacturer.
I do notice hydraulic pump singing when cold and surmise it prob the new filter may have some flow restriction.

I will in the future change fluid and filter more often.
