The MF2650/60 tractors all have a very odd (and I say poor) design feature which is that the 3pt position control lever only moves about 3/4 inch from all the way down to all the way up for a typical implement like a 7ft bush hog. Mine for example operates between the 4 and the 5 on the marked lever bezel using only part of that numerical range. Seems crazy but found others on dealer's lots and measured their response which is just like mine. Many other tractors have a much larger amount (several inches) of control lever movement to go from down to all the way up for an implement. That gives the operator much more control and comfortable adjustment of implement height and lift.

I am curious whether the newer 4600 series has a more sensible lever movement per amount of implement lift. Anyone owning a 4608/9/10 willing to inform us on this one ?
