Just replaced the lift pump. Bled system. Started and ran good for about 30 seconds and died like it lost prime. Waited about 5 minutes, restarted and ran about 10-20 seconds. It will restart every time, but won't stay running. Getting fuel to the injection pump. Pulled inlet screen on inj pump and cleaned. Still the same. Any ideas?

Typical symptoms for clogged check valve(key 9) caused by deteriorating fiber drive ring in inj pump. Loosen the 2 screws(key 13) that hold timing window. With fuel leaking out attempt to start engine. If engine operates correctly clogged valve is the problem. TEMPORARY FIX is clean check ball in valve BUT continuous engine operation without having drive ring replaced could cause premature wear to pump housing requiring NEW IP.

This happened to me when I first got my 2130. Tried near everything then put a new fuel filter on and problem solved. I did have issues with algae in my tank though and cleaned it out before installing the new filter. Funnily I could not see a blockage in the glass filter, but it was there.
