Ford 1700
Hi!

I have an old Ford 1700. Recently, the control arm for the 3pt lift has been "slipping" up. Messing around with it, it goes down with resistance, but when I pull on it, it moves pretty easily, which means if you hit a bump, it will lift the 3pt arms, which makes grading really annoying.

Looking at the parts diagram, it doesn't look like there's a friction disk or anything there, but there is a little gap in there. I haven't taken it apart yet, so I'm not exactly sure what is going on, but wanted to see if anyone here had any thoughts

Are you talking about the castle nut up near the transmission?
