Fuel Hose size MT240

Thinking about putting a shutoff valve on the supply line when I change the fuel filter. Anyone know what size the fuel hose is?
Putting the info from the hose into google didn't help.

8 mm inner diameter? 10 at most?

ugg, metric, forgot about that, I wonder if a 1/4" ID shutoff valve will work. I didn't even think about MM when I went back out to take this pic.

That measurement is close to 9 mm actually so the hose is most like 8 mm.
