Not sure which unit to purchase. I live in south jersey and need the unit to cut grass about 1 acre and to clear a stone driveway 200 feet long and 14 feet wide of snow

Any ideas on what unit and should I purchase a blade or snow blower any help is welcome

Also anyone know a GOOD "Price" Dealer in either NJ or Del or Lanchaster Pa or South East Pa

thanks

You would probably be happier with the TG1860 for longevity. I live in Southern DE but don't know the dealers in your neck of the woods, or North DE. The only other thing I can offer is to say that you probably don't want to use a blower or thrower on a stone driveway.

Good luck.

The G2160 is actually a more heavy duty unit.

I don't know what the $$$ difference is...........but if you can swing it go for the G2160 since you are going to be dealing with snow removal........if you are only mowing the G2160 is probably overkill.

Good Luck, Bob

See the "kubota g.t. prices" post. It may help.

Do both tractors have shaft drive? The TG series are belt drive I believe, while the G series is shaft. For power delivery and low maintenance, go with the shaft drive.

The deck on the TG is belt drive, but the hydro unit is shaft drive on both.
Keep in mind the belt drive on the TG gives the ability to use an electric pto clutch. I too fought the same question, and ended up with a ZD21. For $1000 less you can get a ZD18. Cuts faster than a LT, more comfortable but less versitile if you need attachments.
