This topic has come up recently and I dug up an old post I generated on another tractor site. This is in regard to the Cub Cadet Springs I saw on a new Lawn Tractor sitting outside a TSC store one day. I commented herein, Branson site possibly, that I removed a set from a Hustler ZT where I had installed a set, the mower originally having no spring at all, and installed on my new 2400 to replace a couple of rubber bumpers....hard bottoming when hitting the many cracks and such in my yard/pasture, while I ordered another set to replace the ones on the Hustler.
I am here to tell you, if a rough riding seat has been a problem for you, you owe it to yourself and your back to check this out. You won't be sorry.
My prior post elsewhere reads:
The parts come from MTD Shelby Operations, 305 Mansfield Ave. Shelby, OH 44875. Their warehouse location is: 1SF2206C21. Item number is 732-05182A. Description is SPR:COMPRES; 2.18X3.65X.207. Cost $5.49. 6 with freight cost me $32.94.
You won't be sorry.
