I'd love to add some Thuja Green Giants to my yard as an eventual privacy wall. I'm in NJ (Zone 6-7) under a shade canopy of 100ft+ trees. They would see partial sunlight but not a lot, plus the area has a lot of moisture. Anyone have the experience before I dive into buying them?

i Buy Green Giants about 10 6-7 inch tall trees and 3 of them grow in partial shade.
The trees have grown quite nicely after nearly 5 years, they are over 6ft tall. The ones growing in partial shade have a little more soil moisture and they seem to look a bit healthier and taller. I think as long as the trees are not in deep shade, you should be fine.
if they are in deep shade, try growing a smaller cheaper tree and see what it does. The smaller trees have an easier time rooting and also are easier to plant.
I love my green giants.

We planted lots of them, 40 or so, when we first moved to our property 7 years ago. They grow much slower in the shade, like way slower. They'll tolerate wet...ish areas, yes, so long as as it sees some drainage occasionally.
