Getting ready to rebuild the loader valve in my 1999 JD 410E Backhoe (what a great machine) and looking for a good hydraulic "plugs/caps" kit to keep hydraulic oil from going everwhere (there are a bunch of lines going into the loader valve) -- anyone have any recommendations ?

Maybe just use some ziplock sandwich bags and zip ties to secure them to the lines. I also would be meticulous in labeling the hoses.

I am not aware of any plugs that will work.

Any generic kit is likely only gonna have a few of each size/type. And you'd use only a fraction of what comes in the kit and it wont be anywhere near enough.

You need to identify the fitting TYPE and SIZE.

Probably JIC fittings so you will need some female caps and plugs. But you need to know the size and you can either order online or go to a local hydraulic supply

I am and Kubota dealers sell them and I use them on my tractors and implements and while they aren't cheap, they do work quite well. I tossed all the generic ones a while ago.
