Hydraulic filter change, then engine issues. Coincident?

Random metal fatigue. It happens. I once had a crankshaft shear; there was a minute flaw that went about 40% of the way through, and cracked from there after about 20 hours of use.

All the best,

Peter

I had a .25 semi-auto with metal fatigue that blew up in my hand... the slide and spring hit me in the mouth. Had a 3/8" squarish bruise on my right upper lip and a curly-Q spring shaped bruise that went from my upper right lip down across both lips to my lower left lip. I'd rather not experience that again... :)

Update: picked it up yesterday. They had it ready Monday but I wasn’t able to get it. They replaced both rocker arms on the left cylinder. They didn’t charge me, but I might get charged if warranty doesn’t go through for some reason. I’m eager to finish my trenching project but I’ve been delayed due to illness in family.
