Hydraulic oil mixed with the engine oil

I have a John Deere 8430 Generation II Series 4x4 articulated, hydrostatic power / 7.6L 6cl diesel and I have hydraulic oil mixing with the engine oil. I assuming that the hydraulic pump has blown a seal. Is there anything else that could cause this problem? How hard is it to change the hydraulic pump? Any idea about the costs? Thanks

The problem just maybe the front pump shaft seal.


If you are going to do the replacing, check the shaft where the seals is located for wear.
