I have got to get a ballast box!

Took the loader off the tractor for the first time this weekend to do some bushhogging. What a difference! With no implements front or back , the tractor was so balanced and planted! I felt like I could zip anywhere. As soon as I put the loader back on, I could immediately feel how front heavy the tractor was. I'm really glad I did it, otherwise I would have nothing for comparison.

I'd suggest that you check your manual to determine the load capacity for your machine, and try to get a ballast box that'll counterbalance a similar amount. My B3030 is supposed to have a capacity of 600 lbs with the FEL and I've got a box that weighs in at 550 lbs. With my butt in the seat, I'd say that ratio is closer to 40/60 with weight to the rear.
