So I'm getting a 55 gallon barrel from work, it had hydraulic or way oil in it.

I bought a basic hand pump setup, I want a simple filter from the pump Nozzle to a filter and then simple fuel Nozzle for tractor. Talking maybe 2 gallons a week, BUT I want to have 25/50 gallons on hand...what inline filter do I want?

Hard to make a recommendation without knowing what kind of pump, hose, and nozzle you have. A picture may help.
I use a 3/4" threaded TSC inline filter for my drum pump. The pump has a 3/4" female thread, piping ending in 3/4" male, filter, then 3/4" hose and nozzle.

Just a fuel filter screwed in where the hose attached then attach the hose to the other side of the filter. You may also want to put a water separator filter on as well.

Get yourself a 'Mr. Funnel' and forgo all of that. The Mr. Funnel will capture any water and debris before it gets in your fuel tank. Easy-peasy and cheap too.
