That is the bolt that holds the head on the pump. You can unscrew the bolt and replace the copper washer. That should seal it.

WASHER

Part # 81811703

380427S
-replaces #380427S COPPER WASHER

R u sure its coming from the copper gasket.??
That screw should b a double screw.. w a 15/16 center screw as a bleeder screw..
U may find either or, if u look up a CAV DPA pump..

Same copper washer assuming the bleed screw is tight. 5/16" btw not 15/16"

U wouldn’t believe some of the filthy pumps I get.!!

Just DONT DO IT while it’s running.!!
The extreme temp change will lock up the head and rotor.. (main pumping unit)

The place I used to work at charged 50.00 for bringing in a filthy pump.!!
I use to warn the customers to go spend .50 across the street (car wash) or risk an extra 50.00 added to their bill.!!

I believe it.... I'm in the rental biz but occasionally get customers equipment in for assessment and repairs. If they come in filthy, I explain that they are looking at a minimum of 1.5hr labor up front for me to run it through the wash bay so I can actually see what's going on on top of the 2hr minimum for assessment.
