Massey ferguson 135
So I purchased a diverter/selector valve for a massey ferguson that bolts/replaces the cover on top of my trans. The diverter valve has two out ports and one return port. My loader has 3 hoses that were used by the previous owner on a different tractor 1st is hose is pressure 2nd hose return to tank and 3rd is power beyond, do I run the ( 3rd hose power beyond) back to tank or should I cap it off? Here is a pic of my new diverter valve, the FEL control valve and instructions one the loader valve for the power beyond. I marked all 3 loose hoses with yellow tape. My question is for the one on the side power beyond hose what should I do with it?

I am not familiar with the diverter set up on your tractor but do not cap off the PB port. That will cause your pump to dead head. I would suspect that the return on the diverter would be where the PB line would go and possibly there is another port somewhere that you could tap into for the tank line.

Normally it needs the PB line to come back to the diverter to power the 3pt hitch. Some people will get a valve without PB plug and just use the tank line to power the 3pt. The problem with this is the tank port on most valves cannot handle the back pressure when you lift the 3pt hitch. They end up cracking over time.

I would suggest finding out the flow of the diverter to make sure you get this plumbed properly.
