JD 2155 Leaks..Please explain to a newbie!

Hello all,
I looked at buying a JD 2155...I dont know too much about this stuff..
There is a box under the right side of the tractor with two hoses (Hydraulic) going into.This is leaking real bad.
What is this box and what would it take to repair it. Also where the arms on the hitch move up and down, they are leaking hydraulic fluid also. What would that take to repair also? Thanks for any info!

Are your brake pedals connected to the box? That would be your brake valve? Where is leaking at on the box. Your 3pt leak is load shaft seals. Pop arms off. Drain hyd. Oil push the arm in and replace inner seal on both
sides. Not too bad to do.

Is the box an enclosure for a loader valve? Does it have hydraulic couplers. Might want to pay a JD mechanic to check it out for you before you buy.

I just replaced the load shaft seals on my 92 2155. Thanks for the info! They were very easy to change.

Do you recall where you got the load shaft seals at and possibly the part number? My JD 2155 seems to have developed the same problem, but can't find the identical schematics on the John Deere parts website. Any help would be appreciated.
