I have a Z445 2008 bought in July. I can't find a diagram or advice on how to access/remove the carburator - specifically removing the air filter "bracket" that sits over the carburator. I have removed the guard and filters...Any help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome. It would be easier for you to pull off what is in your way so you can see what you are up against here. With poor access and working on something you aren't really familiar with, it will be frustrating.

Thanks. I have it all exposed now, but havent gone any further. I went to the local auto parts store: they told me they needed to see the old carb (bring it along) It was one of the younger guys. I wait until I am in town again, and talk to one of the guys I know. I might have to go to a JD dealer. Thats about an hour drive. One thing for sure: I am definitly replacing the bolts/nuts per the manual. Having to constantly change sockets and wrenches was the most frustrating part. But I am enjoying the challenge.
