I currently have a backhoe attachment for my Deere skid steer. Works great but you have to keep crawling back in the cab to move the backhoe to the next part of the ditch that you are digging. On the Kubota is there a way you can stay in the seat and move the tractor farther down the ditch?

Second, how hard and how much time does it take to take the backhoe off and install and use the 3 point hitch?

Thanks

I guess/plan which way to go, leave it in drive that direction, and when I raise the loader it creeps.

Oh, 9 outta' 10 - I do not plan on a work day after major swaps.

To answer the questions, yes you can move further while digging a ditch without leaving the seat, simply shift the transmission into neutral once you get positioned and push yourself forward with the hoe. As far as swapping the hoe out, on a BX 23s takes very little time and effort to do either. The 3 pth isn't bad once you do it a few times.
