I have an older Kubota L245 that has just started leaking fluid around the gear shift. I read elsewhere on the internet that it could be caused by a clogged "weep hole" . I cannot locate a weep hole anywhere.... Anybody have any suggestions? PLEASE HELP....

Thanks, I'll give that a try.. Do you know where the Vent Tube is for this tractor.? I have read several post that suggest that this vent tube may be clogged but all the say is that it is under the seat... I sure can't find it.

Look under the left side of the seat #14

I had a L245DT exactly like yours -- even had a HD snow/dirt plow mounted on front with controls exactly the same as yours -- sure brings back some good old memories. Bought it new in late 70's and had it for 15 years. Never had a problem of any kind.
Regarding the leak, I'd check to make sure the transmission isn't way over full before getting too excited. It's a lot easier to fix that sort of problem and doesn't cost anything.

Those photos sure bring back some good old memories from the 70's and 80's when I used my L245DT to plow a lot of snow and mow a lot of grass in upstate NY. On really cold days (zero & subzero) had to use both compression release and glow plugs to get her started but she always started.
Hope you enjoy your L245DT as much as I did mine.
