Reading past posts I see people doing more than an oil change at 50 hrs?

I read that people are also doing hydraulic filters as an example?

Maybe they have hydrostat, my tractor is manual shift.

My owners booklet doesn't specify this at 50 hrs?

Also I read there are two drain plugs for oil? I don't have tractor in front of me to look at.

Can someone give me a rundown of what I should be doing at the 50 the mark?

The manual says change the hydraulic & HST filters but not the hydraulic oil. If you put a shop vac over the fill port & turn it on, you wont loose any oil other than what is in the filters. Some change the oil, bit I stuck with just the Kubota recommended filter change on both my machines.

I assume it was both engine oil & engine oil filter at 50, but dont recall. A lot less engine oil than hydraulic oil to change & it gets contaminated from blowby.

Thanks, I didn't have hst. Can someone tell me if there are 2 drain plugs

Yes there are two. Oil pan has a hump in it for the front drive shaft, so its got two plugs. Drain the bulk out with the first and open the second to get the rest (like one qrt).
