I just traded for a 1968 135. I see nowhere the lights would have been. Was this an option? It is suppose to be a 1968, but I have no idea.

Not sure if they were an option but I found a few pics of 135's with and headlights which were grille and fender mounted. Unless you are restoring the tractor you could mount lights anywhere you want.

Lights were optional. My brothers 135 didn't have any lights so he went with the UK style lights since his needed a new grill anyways.

Thank all for the pictures. I think mine had the fender lights on top... strange. Since I'm not restoring it I think the add where I want them would be good.

The only drawback to putting them on the rear fenders close to you is that you could be possibly sitting the whole time in a swarm of bugs (depends upon where you live, and or what time of year).

Kenneth, I noticed that your picture is a yellow tractor. I've been working on this one, the linkage for the throttle isn't working like it should, but I noticed this one was yellow under the red paint. I loaned my cousin the cattle trailer to haul some calves yesterday and the guy I traded with was with him. He said the tractor had been a state owned tractor. Is the yellow tractor in your picture a MF? Oddly enough, I did not know that MF had 2 colors they produced.

This seems to be a good, stout tractor, just needs a few things fixed, but ran good as it was. I'm not wanting to restore it just use it and fix the things I think it needs. Few hoses here and there, lights, a new seat, linkage, etc.

My 2135 is just a 135 with a few different options that you couldn't get on a 135. I painted my 2135 red because I can't stand yellow, here's a video after I fixed it up.

Good looking tractor. I like the cab on it. Looks and sounds like it runs good too.

I have 1 part for the linkage I found installed and 1 ( part 834042M1) and the other (a clip) is on it's way. They lost it I guess when the carburetor was rebuilt. Found a metal brace tore in 1/2, welding time. Mine runs good but just needs a little tweaking to operate like I want it to, the throttle especially. I'll put it back together until spring, use it like it is. I still have to finish the boat I bought, which don't need much more, more or less just things that I want it to have now.
