Yes, just adjust the detent pressure setting. Or maybe you could raise the tractor setting slightly? The only problem then might be if the splitter has the stuck-log lugs, where the retract un-sticks it, it may still kick the tractor valve, before the return detent does. If your splitter doesn't have those lugs it should work fine-business.

If its on your tractor get an LS-3060 valve. It doubles the stroke speed going out but also has a low speed for more power.

Valve designation for the fast extend should be LSR-3060.

It is only designed for low GPM.
