Mahindra 3510 4x4

Inherited my Dad's 3510 had it serviced. Should've asked them if it is full time 4x4 and what the shift patterns are on the two shifters. It seems to not pull with the front axle.

I have a 4510. Unsure how close they are but I once had some type of simple clip break and I did not have the front tires pulling. The shop made it a simple cheap fix. Obviously could be other issues.

Lever to left side of seat engages front axle (forward)
You may have to back up slightly to pull front axle lever backwards to disengage
Left hand long lever is low, med, high ranges
Right hand long lever is gears 1,2 3 & 4

4510 is the same, just the cab model of the 4110 with 4 more hp
The 3510 is the little brother with 34 hp, no cab option

You can take a piece of fine sandpaper and buff the top of the shifter knobs and see the patterns again under that plastic layer, whatever it is. A little vinyl trim restorer will keep it clear for awhile. Be extremely careful moving the 4x4 shifter in & out of gear - you WILL bend the shift fork inside the trans if not very gentle. Sometimes it takes several tries back & forth from forward to reverse to move it. The fork isn't very expensive or difficult to replace but you have to drain the hydraulic fluid (8 gal) to do it.

Tractor will shift smooth if it is not rolling when you shift.
