Well this is the first chance I’ve had to put hooks on my bucket. It turned out nice, and I put them right to work.

Thats how I put mine on also. Works like a champ especially to pick up things that are off balance, like a sickle bar mower.

Did you notice if the plate metal of bucket bent at all when you lifted? I was going to weld directly to the bucket but didn't feel there was enough steel. I will weld a 3/8" plate onto the bucket, then weld the hooks onto that.

I havent noticed it bowing, but I try not to lift off the center eye.Ill pay more attention and see.

I was going to bolt a steel plate to the top of the bucket for extra strength and weld the hooks to the plate. I like the idea of the 3 hooks!
