main drive removeal mf 35

Removing main drive shaft to replace seals MF 35 petrol 6speed dual clutch. Manuals that I have don't give enough info on this. I have removed bottom plate and snap rings this shaft will not pull out forward .it looks like I will have to separate rear of transmission to push it backwards is this correct
what I mean is the bottom PTO shaft needs to be moved to let the gear drop down so the main drive shaft can be removed

G'day Flips could you be a bit more specific as to what seals you are replacing do you mean gearbox input shaft seal or pto seals?
