Massey ferguson 35 gas De luxe 1959?
I think I have overfilled my transhydro and now have hydro oil in my starter
looking for info on how serious my issue is
it is about a 59 era Massey Ferguson 35 gas deluxe 2 stage clutch

I was using tractor and everything seem to work fine
then it acted like it was sluggish to restart
I noticed on the front of starter housing a weeping of oil
oil was also weeping form brake pedal inputs and clutch pedal inputs and main joint on frame weeping
I removed starter motor and about a cup of oil ran out
I believe it to be the hydraulic oil... I used the 80/90 mineral from tsc gl1
I looked at my stick and found it to be way over the line
I had topped of previously as it had been low and sure thought I had it on the mark
I have since drained excess oil but the starter appears to be dead... tractor is converted 12 volt
I would like to know what seals if any separate the starter and flywheel from the hydraulic well
is it merely overflow or does it need a breakdown and service/replacement
I believe the starter will need a rebuild as I tried it several times before all electrics went dead
Neighbor said I could clean it... I want to rebuild it and reinstall if fluid issue is just overflow
Battery still has a charge 12.5+or-
Any input would be great thanks in advance
