I'm looking at getting a new to me tractor, and I have found a 2006 MF 492, 2wd, open platform, w/ 1070 FEL. It has about 1500 hours on it, one owner, and it has been used to bale hay and work in chicken houses. I'm headed to look at it tomorrow. Since it was used in chicken houses I know to look for rust, is there anything else I should pay special attention to on these tractors? Or does anyone know of any problems with these tractors?
Just don't want to buy someone else's problem.
