Massey Ferguson Industrial 1976 MF40 Loader Backhoe Hydraulic Control Valve Rebuild

Hi, I have a Massey Ferguson Industrial 1976 MF40 Loader Backhoe. It has a MF220-7 Backhoe and a MF207 Loader self leveling.
Some time ago I rebuilt the Dipper ram and now am looking at working on the 6 spool control valve assembly for the backhoe.
I have the spool out and there is a o ring which, when I extracted the spool, was just loose on one of the shaft sections.
Does anyone know where exactly the o-ring is meant to go?
Does anyone have a parts diagram that shows where this o-ring actually sits?

I found this low res page from the MF220 Backhoe repair manual. Looks like it is the same as my spool setup.
Look like the The O-ring goes as I have shown it.
