It has been mentioned before about the quick disconnect on the glow plug rail melting. Mine was melted when I got it, and when I read about it on here. I checked mine, and caused it to stop working. i cleaned it up and slid it back on. that was 8 months ago.
Last couple times I went to start this, the starts got longer, and more smoke, and one cylinder taking a second or two longer to "run"
so i figured its time to deal with it via a ring terminal before this causes me a no start when I need it. There was almost no resistance with sliding it on or off.
so i cut it off, cut it open and replaced it with a ring terminal. Will check it tomorrow, but i expect it to be fine.
I included pictures so other people can see the damage over time from this. my tractor has 380 hours at this point.
UPDATE: Tractor started great!
