1978 ford 3600, 1964 ford 4000 rowcrop
this is my 4000, rebuilt everything on it, brakes, tires, 12volt, carb, pins, had to make the stabilizer bars, it was a fun project. its for sale too. time for another project.

looks very nice.

I love the rowcrops. I have a 63 with factory wide front.

Thanks for the pictures, you did a great job on the restoration.

Sound guy - what are the differences between this tractor and my 58 961? Other than paint color it looks almost identical.

that 4000 appears to have a 5 spd.. AFAIK.. all 000 5 spds were the dual clutch, like in a *61 model.

so.. the main difference in a 961 and a 4000 5 spd is the hood sheet metal at the nose.. IE.. no round medalion on the 4000.. it has a chrome cover.. also, no egg crate grill on the 4000..e tc.

that's the bulk of the differences..
