Soundguy , never thought of that but even so, one thing i like is that the INTERSTATE was made in USA where the othe was made in Tiawan.

another thing i learned was that a battery made overseas canot be shipped with acid in the battery, so it come over dry and must have the acid added and battery charged at point of sale. at least that is what they told me at INTERSTATE.

I believe Optima Batteries also make these in that model series
I have one in my 84 Celica that only gets run ocasionally and it has done it all for 3 yrs
They are not cheap but you get what you pay for in the long run
When my Bx 1830 finnaly needs a new battery it wll be an Optima

I did not have good luck with a optima battery only lasted 3.5 years and it was 95 dollars.
