Backhoe New Backhoe Attachments from MIE

We all wanted a way to change backhoe Buckets or Attachments without the hassle of driving out and lining up the bucket pins. Michigan Iron and Equipment is now offering Backhoe Quick Attach Brackets for the KIOTI KB23XX and KB24XX Backhoes. Our Quick Attached brackets allows quick changing between Backhoe Buckets, Rippers, and Grapple Buckets, or any other backhoe attachment compatible with the KIOTI Backhoes. These items are new for 2019, and are not yet on out website, but we do have any introductory video on the Michigan Iron and Equipment Facebook page. You asked, we now have it.

Interesting thanks for the heads up, looks great.
Do you have any measurements/ calcs on how much less curl breakout force you have (longer distance from the pins) also how much less curl up it has vs stock.

Great question, the exact same discussion as adding a QA Bracket to a Front Loader. We cannot exactly duplicate the testing done by the manufacturer for Break Out Force, but from our modeling, our Backhoe QA Bracket would reduce the Breakout Force listed for the Backhoe by 18%. Life is full of trade-offs...

The curl feature is roughly the same as the stock backhoe because we offset the attachment pins back from the dipperstick. This moved the attachment back, but allowed the clearances necessary to allow the thumb to close on the bucket with the QA Bracket installed. This clearance allows bucket rotation for buckets 12" and wider. The thumb will still not completely close on a 9" bucket just because of the width of the thumb. The front edges of a 9" bucket need to be trimmed for the thumb, with or without the QA Bracket.

We also have an Extension Kit for our thumb that provides the extra length required with the QA Bracket. The thumb extension is just a simple "bolt-on" kit if you need the thumb to reach the cutting edge of the bucket with the QA Bracket installed on the backhoe.
